What are off-the-rack suits?
Off the rack suits or also known as “ready to wear”, are suits that are mass- produced to fit a broad range of figures & sizes. They tend to have a looser fit and never quite fit an individual perfectly. These suits are typically found in department stores.

Off-the-rack suits come in limited sizes as they are meant to fit the average guy, who is between 5”7- 5”11 with an average build. As a result, you will spend a great amount of time going from store to store finding the perfect suit.

A majority are manufactured using man-made synthetic fibers like polyester, which are not as durable and have poor breathability.
